German TV: Bush Family Behind 9/11

Un-be-freaking-lievable! Dave Kasper at Medienkritik blogs out of Germany and keeps an eye on that nation's left-wing press. The latest lunacy out of Germany is a show broadcast on Germany's largest state-run television station which alleges that the Bush family was really behind 9/11.

Throughout the mystery the woman was chased by groups of unidentified villains who were out to kill her because she had a CD with photographic evidence of the Boston hijacker who got away. The subtext of the plot was her explicitly stated allegation that 9-11 was instigated by the Bush family for oil and power. The hit men were CIA/FBI types and the TV audience is led to believe they were the ones who killed the pilot and were now after the woman to insure her story would never be known. The conclusion of the mystery has the detectives believing her story as she escapes the CIA by fleeing to an unnamed Arab country.
This isn't exactly surprising news given what we know of the Left's love of conspiracy theories.

Me? I'm not so interested although this is clearly a tragic story. But there are millions of tragic stories that could be told on any given day. I can't help but wondering if this would be the lead story if Natalee wasn't a gorgeous blonde? I'm serious. In my book this is the lead story for a local TV station at best. There is no reason this ought to be the lead at CNN and Fox. More evidence of the vast gynocratic conspiracy and the Oprahization of the news.......

Letters to Heroes: A Request

Rusty has given me permission to post this upon The Jawa Report and I thank him for doing so. I started a campaign to send letters to our service men and women about a week ago after seeing how many U.S. soldiers simply want mail. Letters for Heroes is about to ship out therefore this is your last chance, and to some it may be their first and last chance, to submit a letter that will be sent out tomorrow to the following service men and women.

SGT George W. Granter who is the squad leader of a recon team in Afghanistan. There are eight people on his team and their request is mail from the States.

PV2 Eric Avila who is stationed at Kandahar Air Base in Afghanistan and has yet to recieve even one piece of mail. His request is simple mail and we should do our part and send him letters of encouragement.

SPC Jon Drzewiecki who is stationed near Tikrit, Iraq and wishes to recieve mail for himself and his 17 other fellow soldiers. SPC Drzewiecki wishes to get some email penpals as well therefore include your email address in the letter.

Basic rules of submissions: Simply said, there are none. Your letter can be one line thanking a soldier for his or her service or it could be a very well thought out draft as some submissions have detailed. There are both men and women in these groups so please keep that in mind. If you wish further correspondence, include your physical address and/or email address.

How to be included in this effort: It cannot be more easy than this. Simply comment to my post here (I can pull email addresses off the comments if you wish but please state you wish me to do so) or email your letter to me.

While this is a small sacrifice for us to undertake, spending 10 minutes of our time, it means the world to our soldiers fighting for our freedoms accross the globe. Please take the time to create a letter and include it in Letters to Heroes.

I also want to thank those who have supported this effort and who have already sent in letters. I've recieved 23 letters thus far and I'm hoping to get another seven in this last minute push. Let's show our soldiers how much we care for their putting their lives in harms way by sending a letter.

Lowly Adjunct Suffers Ignominious End

Well, we know how that goes, don't we? Typically adjuncts are treated with about as much collegial respect as third-string badminton players, but this case takes the impertinence to a new level. After being shot by his wife with a 0.38 cal. Taurus, Bill McGuire, an adjunct professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology, was dismembered with a power saw, packed in three cheap suitcases, and tossed in the Chesapeake. Ouch!

Serbian Civilian Murders Broadcast on TV, Leads to Arrests

Jihadi Training Video

I've seen a lot of jihadi videos in my time, but this one takes the cake for sheer retardedness. I'm calling it the al-Timmy video. You know, if this is the kind of training the mujahidin are getting now it's no wonder they have to resort to suicide missions as their only successful means of attacks. Even so, it's amazing that these retards could pull off killing themselves let alone any one else. Yes, the video is that idiotic.

Pantano resigns commission, retains honor

Thanks to relentless villification by the press, desertion by the government he swore to uphold, and the ingratitude of the country he swore to protect, Lieutenant Ilario Pantano has resigned.

Religion of Peace Update: Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangsta edition

I can now quit blogging...

Today, I have become a man! Thanks Glenn. Does this mean I can no longer post over at Itsapundit? Anyway, somehow I feel validated. You know, complete, whole, etc.

Anyway, I've still never got a stand alone link. You know, a one liner directing minions to a site with the patented heh or indeed. Those bring in the big number. Oh well, maybe next year. Toilet Manufacturer To Introduce Koran-Accommodating Islamoflusher

An American toilet manufacturer is currently designing a new model that will "flush the bulkiest of Korans," sources said yesterday.

A spokesman for Krap King, Inc. said the company would have the new "Islamoflusher" model in stores for the spring, when Americans do their most flushing – sacred religious texts included. The new toilet would "help prevent and possibly eliminate" situations like the recent Newsweek story, which reported that American interrogators at Guantanamo Bay flushed a Koran down the toilet to "intimidate" suspected terrorists. Voyeur Charged for Upskirt Snapshots

Although it's somewhat tame, this story is consistent with the notion of the new .XXX domain. In Naples, Florida, Pedro Sandoval Avendano has been charged with voyeurism for taking photographs under a woman's dress at the Coastland Center Mall last Saturday.

From the Naples Daily News:

Reports say the woman, whose name was not released because it is a sex crime, was shopping at Old Navy in the mall when she saw Avendano come up behind her and take a photo from underneath her dress. He did this two more times before the woman reported it to the store manager.

The woman told police that she saw him take another shot from underneath another woman's skirt outside of the store. The woman was able to identify herself in the photos for police.

Okay, as I understand the story, the suspect was arrested by Naples police who confiscated his photos and, subsequently, the female victim was able to identify herself in the photos. Since the only photos taken were snapshots up women's dresses, one has to wonder what features the woman has when viewed from underneath that she could so easily identify herself.

To take the thought a step further, just what does a police officer say to the woman when asking her to identify the evidence. "Uh, Ma'am, if I look up your skirt, would I see something like this?"

Zarqawi Dead (#273 in an ongoing series....)

Ok, it's been said before, but I'll say it again: Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, the group formerly known as Tawhid and Jihad, former member of Ansar al-Islam, the man who personally beheaded innocent civilians, and mass murdering terrorist in Iraq is dead.

Let's hope this one is for real. If it is, it is a confirmation of earlier report we made last Friday of Zarqawi's demise. Infrequent Jawa contributor Editor (update: who tells me that he got the link from The Junkyard Blog) drops this link into the comments section:

The Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi - al-Qaeda's leader in Iraq - died on Friday and his body is in Fallujah's cemetary, an Iraqi Sunni sheikh, Ammar Abdel Rahim Nasir, has told the Saudi on-line newspaper Al-Medina. He claims that gunfights which broke out in Fallujah in the last few days involved militants trying to protect the insurgency leader's tomb from a group of American soldiers patrolling the area.

During a telephone conversation from the city of Fallujah with the Saudi newspaper, Nasir said al-Zarqawi was taken there after being injured in the city of Ramadi around three weeks ago, and may have been treated by two doctors who had worked with his aides in Baghdad. He said the two doctors had stopped a serious haemorrhage in al-Zarqawi's intestines, but that after his condition worsened last week, the militant died on Friday.

Nasir adds that in his will the insurgent leader left the order that no funeral should be held for him and the right to announce his death should be left to the al-Qaeda leadership in Afghanistan and Osama bin Laden.

The Al-Medina newspaper reports that it also called the headmaster of a school in Fallujah, who preferred to remain anonymous, but confirmed that many people in the city were aware of the fact that al-Zarqawi had recently been taken to the city.

Sheikh Nasir's claims appear to correspond with reports several weeks ago that al-Zarqawi had been injured and taken to Ramadi hospital for emergency treatment, and with messages on the Internet talking of two Arab doctors accompanying him. Al-Zarqawi was reported to have been seen at the hospital on April 27. The hospital's director told an Iraq-based newspaper that US troops later surrounded and raided the entire building, searching for the Jordanian militant.

The Two Faces of Seymour Hirsh

I've always know Seymour Hirsh was an idiot, but I had no idea he was a moonbat to boot. In the pages of The New Yorker Hirsh appears to be a hard hitting left-of-center partisan. And he's had quite a lot of scoops in his day (My Lai), peppered with the occasional idiotic report (I'm thinking of his 'Forged uranium documents story'). However, when he gets away from editorial oversight of David Remnick, the other, less sane, side of Seymour Hirsh comes out. What's even more insane than the accusations, which literally come straight out of the pages of al Jazeera, are the fact that he attributes them to unnamed sources deep within the Pentagon.

Here are the accusations from The New York Metro. I recommend reading the whole article::

*Videotape of young boys being raped at Abu Ghraib.
*Evidence that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi may be a “composite figure” and a propaganda creation of either Iraq’s Baathist insurgency or the U.S. government.
*The active involvement of Karl Rove and the president in “prisoner-interrogation issues.”
*The mysterious disappearance of $1 billion, in cash, in Iraq.
*A threat by the administration to a TV network to cut off access to briefings in retaliation for asking Laura Bush “a very tough question about abortion.”
*The Iraqi insurgency’s access to short-range FROG missiles that “can do grievous damage to American troops.”
*The murder, by an American platoon, of 36 Iraqi guards.
